4th Grade Teachers

Mrs. Amy Benton graduated California State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a multiple subject teaching credential. She taught for 4 years at Orangeburg Christian School in Modesto, California. This was special to her because it was also the school she attended from preschool through 8th grade. Afterward, she worked for 2 years with special needs preschool students as an ABA therapist, spent time as a substitute teacher in Anchorage, Alaska, and a stay at home experience with her first child. Mrs. Benton joined NCA in 2016.

Miss Kim Brown grew up in Satellite Beach, Florida and graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia with a BA in Elementary Education. She loves spending her free time creating art and music and can play the ukulele, guitar, and trombone as well as sing and she looks forward to sharing these gifts with her students. She promotes a love for learning and exploring God’s magnificent creation while sharing God’s love with her students. She joined NCA in 2017.

Mrs. Sonja Meier holds her Bachelor of Arts from St. Martin's University and has a Reading Endorsement. She taught for 5 years prior to joining NCA initially in 1998. After leaving NCA for 10 years to raise her children, Mrs. Meier returned to NCA in 2012. She has taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades at NCA in the past. Mrs. Meier and her husband have two children, who attend NCA. She loves to spend time with her family hiking, camping, riding bikes, and visiting the family farm.


Ms. Cindy Quigley earned a BA in English and an Elementary Education K-8 Certification from Seattle Pacific University. Ms. Quigley taught elementary school for 11 years before coming to NCA in 2008. One of the unique skills she brings to her classroom is her specialization in brain research and related teaching strategies
