Application Procedures

FALL NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT: FEBRUARY 1, 2019

The enrollment procedures for new students are as follows:

Step 1.) Apply Online 

All students entering NCA’s Kindergarten program for the 2019-2020 school year must be five years old by August 31.

 Step 2.) Student Assessment 
 
When the Online Application is completed and submitted, the Director of Admissions will contact the family to schedule the new student assessment and family interview. It is not necessary for both parents to be present for the assessment. 
 
Step 3.) Family Interview  

Both parents and the student applicants must be present at the interview.

Step 4.) Enrollment Decision 

New families will be notified of acceptance within ten business days following the interview and assessment. 

Step 5.) Online Enrollment 

Following notification of acceptance, the new family has three days to complete the Online Enrollment (accessed through ParentsWeb) process. All of the required fees and forms, including a current immunization certificate, must be received for a student to be considered enrolled.

A waiting pool is established for qualified students after all openings are filled. 

The School reserves the right to admit and dismiss students based on its own criteria of spiritual commitment, academic performance, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with the School Administration and to abide by its policies and regulations.

Application Requirements

Kindergarten Students:

  • Must be five years old before or on August 31
  • Must show a state (valid) certified birth certificate when submitting the application
  • Must submit proof that immunizations are current (refer to Health section for requirements)
  • Must be assessed for placement

Elementary Students (Grades 1-5):

  • Required to furnish their most recent report cards and standardized test results
  • Must submit proof that immunizations are current (refer to Health section for requirements)
  • Should be a suitable age for the grade assigned
  • Must be assessed for placement

Middle School Students (Grades 6-8):

  • Required to furnish their most recent report cards and standardized test results
  • Must submit proof that immunizations are current (refer to Health section for requirements)
  • Should be a suitable age for the grade assigned
  • Must be assessed for placement
