NCA Early Learning Center

Welcome to Northshore Christian Academy Early Learning Center! We are so glad that your family is interested in our program.

Our goal is to provide your family with a Christian environment where your child will be nurtured and loved by teachers and staff. We provide an enriching program of social development, character quality training and practice, developmentally appropriate opportunities, academic readiness activities and Biblical training. Our ultimate goal is to give children a well-rounded experience while in our care.

We have a fantastic staff whose primary goal is to provide a safe, secure, and happy environment where every child feels confident to explore, learn and play.

Mrs. Joanne Waters
Early Learning Center Assistant Director

Mrs. Joanne Waters and her husband, John, moved to Washington in 2010 from Okinawa, Japan. While her husband was stationed in Japan with the US Navy Hospital, Mrs. Waters worked with the Dodds schools as a substitute teacher, front desk Administrator and Registrar. She has a Bachelor of Music from Liberty University and continuing education classes in Elementary Education through BSU, MD and the WA State STARS program. Joanne and John have two children, one of which attends NCA, and Joanne has volunteered in Children’s Ministry and AWANA for a number of years.

Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten Classes

• Schedule/Times: 7:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday
• Full and Part Time: Three, Four, or Five Days a Week
• Full Day (4 hours or more) or Half Day (4 hours or less)
• Toddlers – Age 1-2
• Preschool – Age 3-4
• Pre-Kindergarten – Age 4-5 (Must be 4 years old before August 31st)
